Introduction to Ultrasonic Metal Melting Equipment
Introduce:
Ultrasonic metal melt equipment is mainly used in the metallurgical industry. Under ultrasonic vibration conditions, it is more conducive to degassing, impurity removal, grain refinement, and strengthening the leaching process of metal melt. At the same time, it is also possible to achieve the composite of fibers and metals in a very short period of time, and prepare high-performance composite materials. It is a specialized equipment used in the metal casting industry. Its main function is to significantly refine metal grains, homogenize alloy composition, accelerate bubble removal, and significantly improve the strength and hardness of metal materials during the crystallization process of molten metal.
The ideal ingot structure is one with uniform and fine equiaxed grains on the entire cross-section of the ingot. This is because equiaxed grains have low anisotropy, uniform deformation during processing, excellent performance, and good plasticity, which is conducive to casting and subsequent plastic processing. The most ideal method to obtain such an organization is currently to use ultrasonic metal melt equipment to refine the melt through ultrasonic treatment.

Principle:
When producing castings by ultrasonic vibration solidification method, ultrasonic waves will generate positive and negative alternating sound pressure during propagation, and high-speed micro jets will be generated at the interface between solid and liquid. At the same time, due to nonlinear effects, acoustic and micro acoustic flows will be generated. This cavitation effect can cut and destroy dendrites, impact the solidification front, increase stirring and diffusion effects, and achieve purification of the structure, refinement of grains, and homogenization of the structure. Thus achieving the goal of improving the strength, fatigue resistance, and overall performance of casting materials.

Advantage:
1. Compared with traditional processes, the homogeneity of metals and the mixing of alloys are better.
2. The crystallinity and alloy properties are better during the casting process.
3. Reduced friction between tools (such as casting, drawing, extrusion, forming) and the processed material, greatly improving material fluidity.
4. Greatly improve the surface smoothness of extruded parts.
5. Reduce or eliminate material voids or voids in casting or molding applications.
6. The density of the alloy increases until the theoretical limit.
7. Easy installation and operation, without changing existing production equipment and process flow.
