Ultrasonic Metal Welding Machine

In industry, such as the automotive or electronics industry, materials made of the same type of metal or different types of metal are connected together. Ultrasonic welding of metals is a cold welding process because there is almost no heat generated except for the solder joints. At this point, high-frequency sound waves are introduced into the welded parts. Accurate tools can maintain consistent quality during each welding process and obtain reproducible results every time.
Advantage:
Compared with traditional welding methods such as gas shielded metal arc welding, ultrasonic welding of metals has the following advantages:
1. Super fast: The entire process only lasts a few seconds.
2. Precision: A large number of welding parameters ensure precise and reproducible results.
3. Cost effectiveness: No need for other additives such as solder.
4. Environmental protection: consumes very little energy and does not use any chemicals.
5. Features: Ultrasonic welding ensures high strength and excellent conductivity of the joint.
6. Gentle: Except for solder joints, the metal is not damaged or deformed.
7. Safety: Ultrasonic welding does not produce sparks or smoke.

Working Principle:
The generator provides high frequency. Then the frequency is converted into mechanical vibration in the converter. The amplitude converter changes the amplitude of vibration. Ultrasonic welding electrodes can also achieve this. Its main task is to introduce ultrasonic energy levels into the top of the application. Ultrasonic waves move it, while the anvil fixes the bottom of the application in place. Generate friction. Here, the rough peaks of the metal are erased, the top (oxide) layer is destroyed, and the metal undergoes plastic deformation. Now, applications can be added without melting. This is very suitable for thin films, thin metal plates, and wires.

Application:
Ultrasonic welding is used in various industries and sectors:
Consumer products: The smallest electrical connections, such as those in remote control applications, can be quickly and accurately created using ultrasound.
Battery: The demand for lithium-ion batteries (LIB) is constantly increasing. The optimal connection technique with long-term process reliability is required to connect the anode (copper foil) and cathode (aluminum) together. Ultrasonic welding is a reliable method for manufacturing batteries.
Automobile: In the automotive industry, wire harness manufacturers rely on ultrasonic welding technology. Use ultrasonic waves to connect car interior components. Components made of chromium, such as chrome rings and other decorative elements, can be bonded together.
Electronic devices: Ultrasonic technology can quickly, safely, and accurately weld cables and terminal connections without posing a danger to sensitive technologies.
